DIL BECHARA......

24th July, 2020

It was Friday night. At around 7:30 p.m in the evening, Sushant Singh Rajput's last film was released on Disney+Hotstar, It was free for all (whether you have a subscription or not) as a tribute to him.

The film shows a bond of friendship, love, and enjoying every moment of your life.

The story revolves around Kizie Basu and Manny and his friend JP

Kizie, who is diagnosed with thyroid cancer and Manny who has previously suffered from osteosarcoma and is in remission.

His friend JP, who is suffering from glaucoma and wants to make a blockbuster film inspired by Rajnikant's films.

They asked Kizie to be their female lead.

Kizie was calm, and find her solace in deep music and has only dream to meet Abhimanyu Veer and ask him why he didn't complete his last song.

On the other hand, Manny was full of life and a big Rajnikant fan who wants to enjoy every moment of life.

When JP loses his eyesight of the second eye and becomes blind, then Kizie and Manny fulfilled his wish and completed the film.

Despite being diagnosed with cancer himself, he wants to fulfill the dream of Kizie of going to Paris and meet Abhimanyu Veer.

Both were in love, in spite of the fact that no one will live forever. They had very less time with each other. Both embrace each other with all the imperfections.

I don't know what made me more emotional, whether it was a funeral ceremony before his death in the movie or realization that we would never watch him again.

But one thing that I learned so far......

Imperfections and flaws are a part of life. No one is born perfect and no one can be.

Our imperfections, flaws, the mistakes we do, all these things make us perfect.

These so-called imperfections doesn't matter in reality. What matters is how your heart is.....

We often go blind while counting our imperfections, that we forget to count our blessings.

We forget that life is much more than finding flaws.

Life is to live and enjoy every moment of life.

Life is to have crazy friends and do the crazy stuff which you will cherish forever.

And the last scene suggests, "Janam kab lena hai aur marna kab hai ye hum decide nhi krte, par jeena kese hai two hum decide kar skte hai"

So yes, we can't decide the birth and death, but we can decide how to live.

How to embrace changes, flaws, imperfections.

And most importantly, not fussing over the things we don't have or don't need at all.

Instead, feeling blessed for the things we have.

You will be missed Sushant, we all love you.

With lots of love
Khushboo :)
